What it's for

The business is running and you want a quick, honest look at how each week went, without a dashboard full of numbers.

What you'll need: About 30 minutes to set up, then 10 minutes a week. Google Sheets (free) or Microsoft Excel, or a small notebook. Nothing to buy.

Pairs well with

What you'll leave with

  • Three to five numbers, each tied to a decision it would change.
  • A weekly goal for each, and whether higher or lower is better.
  • A plan written in advance for what you'll do if a number goes off track.
  • A weekly log with the latest week, the average so far and a green or red status.
